At A2 Hosting, the advantages of our shared web hosting packages are obviously speeding. However, the other pros of these plans include affordability and convenience. Our shared web hosting environment means we can offer reasonably priced hosting plans because our customers are not only sharing server resources, but they are also spreading the cost of hardware, server maintenance, security updates and other factors among all customers on the server. As an A2 Hosting shared server hosting customer, you also do not have to worry about server uptime and technical support because that’s our job. Our shared web hosting packages come with an abundant amount of resources like disk space, data transfer and email accounts that are perfect for personal and small business websites. A2 Hosting’s amazingly wide range of options for customization and cost control make them a premier provider of shared and VPS hosting. With an emphasis on performance and a commitment to solving customer problems, A2 has optimized solutions built exclusively for their network. You won’t regret going “Turbo” with A2 Hosting’s packages.
The majority of hosting plans can be categorized into five main types are
Shared: More than suitable enough for many small business and personal blogs/websites, at a price point that won’t overwhelm. You’ll be renting disk space on a shared (hence the name) Linux-based server with other websites, which means you’re also sharing things like RAM, processing power & bandwidth. It’s comparable to living in an apartment building: lots of neighbors, shared everything, and limited access to the inner workings of the property. The majority of websites run on shared linux servers.
VPS: If you now require more capacity than shared hosting can offer you then, virtual private server hosting will provide you with increased performance without the expensive bills of a dedicated server. An interesting option if you’re looking for improved security, and more control over the server, in an environment with fewer users to place demands on server resources.
Cloud: describes a method of configuring servers in a flexible way to allow for the most affordable, scalable, and reliable web infrastructure. Cloud servers scale with incredible speed. You can expand or reduce servers in seconds to ensure that the server keeps up with demand without wasting money on unnecessary resources.
Dedicated: When you’re at the capacity to no longer need to share server resources then dedicated hosting will provide you full access to a physical server. Useful for powering large complex websites & applications, dedicated hosting provides the highest levels of security and server configuration possible.
Reseller Hosting: If you want to sell web hosting while someone else manages and monitors the network, reseller hosting is one option to consider. With reseller packages you buy access to space to servers in bulk, and then “resell” it under your own business name. An advanced hosting type, if you select a reseller plan then you will need to be prepared to provide your customers with technical support.
Finding the perfect web hosting provider is difficult with so many available options to choose from.
It seems like every time we think we know the top 5 on the market today, a new one pops up offering bigger and better feature sets, complete with more speed than all the other hosting solutions.
But, how are you supposed to know which hosting providers truly are the best, and which ones are just trying to make it against their tough competitors?
Well, while I may not be able to answer that question entirely for you, but I can tell you that one of the best web hosting providers on the market today is A2 Hosting. When it comes to shared hosting packages, A2 Hosting has three distinct plans.
They each offer unlimited storage, transfers, and an exclusive panel for controlling all of your account details as well as website features.
They also give websites owners free SSL certifications and a free SSD. In addition, you can easily integrate shopping cart applications and turn your website into an ecommerce shop.
Not perfect but no host is. Occasionally requires a bit of prodding to get them to realize the magnitude of a situation but everyone I’ve ever talked to over the past 5 years is very knowledgeable and qualified unlike other hosts I’ve been with. The uptime has been fantastic and the support works around the clock. Recently, I emailed them at 10pm I was having an issue with the domain loading and when I woke I saw they had fixed it by 1am! I keep referring people to A2, and now have been using them for any new client sites when they allow me to choose the host.
Great speed, price, and each time I have needed support they have been top notch.
I’ve been looking for new hosting (done with the gator) and was referred to A2 Hosting from a good friend. I know hosting companies have growing pains as well as issue, no hosting company is perfect. I’ve decided to jump ship from my current host because those issues are non-stop.
I have had A2 Hosting for almost a year now and haven’t had any issues; sure they had a DDOS attack, but what hosting company hasn’t? Overall my sites have stayed online. I notice there are many bad reviews for their technical support. Every ticket I have submitted has been taken care of within 1 hour (unless of course I email them at midnight, then it takes a little longer). They have fixed any issues (usually my fault for not knowing exactly how to transfer a site from one host to another and causing issues, but they have always fixed those issues).
I was attracted to A2 Hosting because they offer the SSD hosting option. Would love to try their Turbo hosting but it’s kind of pricey.. Hopefully it drops in the near future. Overall I’m satisfied with A2 Hosting and hope that they continue improving their services. They are better than many other options out there, and their prices are competitive or better than others.
